从调查测试的结果看，学生对汉语多音字掌握得并不好，误读率比较高，本文还归纳出泰国学生多音字阅读出现错误的主要原因，是因为对象只记住所学过的多音字的第一读音，但却记不住所学过的，学生认识生词很少，学生不知道有些生词有两个以上的读音，不认识多音字词汇的语法，学生少复习词汇。
因此教师应该善于帮学生建立起语义系统，通过语素提取，词义联系，区别词形，串词成句等方法，加上大量的练习，使学生更好地掌握。而且学生也应该注意到多音字的不同读音、不同意思，常常练习复习，以增加汉语教学的效能以及正确沟通效率。
